WWII bomber crew finally laid to rest in Poland.








The remains of aircrew from a RAF Halifax bomber shot down over Poland in 1944 have finally been laid to rest with full military honours following a service of rededication in Krakow.
The Halifax, JP276 from 148 Squadron was shot down while on a special mission, flying from Brindisi in Italy to drop weapons and ammunition to the Polish Underground during the Warsaw Uprising.
