STORY OF FALKLANDS GURKHA HERO BANNED FROM BRITAIN

The humiliation of brave Gurkhas like Mr Pun VC and Lance Corporal Rai highlights our Government's shoddy treatment of all "our" honourable Gurkha-soldier veterans. You can continue to support our Gurkhas and Lance Corporal Rai by asking your friends to visit this website and by joining our campaign by writing to their MPs and the Government Minister for Immigration, Liam Byrne.
Gyanendra Rai has been told that he does not have "close ties" to the United Kingdom, and is not welcome in this country. What follows is an extract from Lance Corporal Rai's account, in his own words, of events at Bluff Cove in June 1982, and thereafter:-. Read The Rest Here

(RG) Its not hard to get angry at the way this Labour Government has treated the UK Armed Forces. But after reading about how the Gurkhas are not allowed into the UK after having served Britain in Wars like the Falklands has my blood pressure dangerously high. These brave men could try and make there way to France and then get into the UK and claim asylum but they are honourable brave men, with pride and would never think of doing anything underhand, they are everything that this Labour Government are not. I would like to apologise to these men and I feel ashamed of my Country they are the victims of discrimination. If you are an American reading this and you have watched the trooping of the colour at Buckingham Palace, realise that there are many many brave ex British soldiers that have been betrayed by the UK in a far of place called Nepal.

  1. Jock I understand your anger but know this.

The Country we fought for in the Falklands no longer exists it is gone forever. What we have now is an Islamic state in everything but name. We also have the left wing lentil munches and the media who decide what the majority of the moronic nation should read and watch. We have headlines in what are supposed to be the intelligent papers showing Paris Hilton leaving Gaol, and a few pages in the deaths of two soldiers in Iraq. Paris Hilton! A retarded slag who just happened to be born in to wealth is getting press coverage why? Because the media decide. Big brother what more do I have to say. Don’t be angry about the Ghurkha, it’s sad but that is how it is now. If you are not Islamic you are not welcome

  2. Jock...
I was not aware we were an Islamic country yet mate, but your right about one thing I did fight in the Falklands with 2SG and now my medals mean fuck all to me, we have been sold down the river by the traitor Blair. I am looking seriously about emigrating to New Zealand before civil war breaks out here, I have just heard on the news that Glasgow airport has been attacked by terrorists, no prizes for guessing what religion they are.

Then enter stage left the attack on Glasgow airport,,, I don't feel smug that this happened and proved me right, just rather sad that this once great country gave up without a shot mening our brave people have fought now means nothing.

  6. Right, i did a post about this on my blog ages ago, its horrendous;

    http://bnpandme.blogspot.com/2007/06/another-gurkha-hero-banned-from-britain.html

(The treatment of the Gurkha is horrendous, not my post!)

But i have one thing important to say to your post, because you got something very important 180 degree's wrong. See, he was not a victim of discrimination. He is a victim of non-discrimination!

The trouble is the government should discriminate for him because of his circumstances, but they have not. i think we should once again be a very discriminating country, but that would mean we need to de-institutionalise the concept of treating everyone the same.

    Best,
    G.

  7. hi,
I appreciate the efforts of British people in undoing what your government has been doing. Also along with the Brave Gurkhas were millions of Indian soliders who fought alongside British Troops in WWI and WWII.

I guess this rapport and respect is what lead to Lord Mountbatten becoming a celebrated and first governer general of independent India.

  8. Salute the Brave Gorkhas.

It's just too bad. How they are treated, just not fair.

They are good enough to die for Britain but not to Live.............ultimate Betrayal!!!

They should all return their medals, return home and never serve the British again.
