Storm warning
From rows over the 10p tax proposals to the fiasco of stamp duty suspension, chancellor Alistair Darling has had a rocky year at Number 11. Decca Aitkenhead joins him at his Scottish holiday retreat to talk reshuffles, recession and the price of eggs Read It Here
"We've got to rediscover that zeal which won three elections, and that is a huge problem for us at the moment. People are pissed off with us. "
Alistair Darling
(RG) it’s a little worse than people being a little pissed off with your Government Alistair although I can understand that you could not possible use such foul language in the media. I personally HATE your Government for what they have done to our Country and I am taking into account of the global economic situation but you simply cannot blame everything upon this. I believe we are genuinely at a crossroads in the UK and around the world. The criminal way in which tax payers money has been given away by Labour to every Tom Ivan & Ahmed that lands upon our shores has finally taken its toll, basically the cupboard is bare. Our once great leader Mr Blair had the foresight to bail out before the aircraft hit the ground as he was privy to the vandalism that his then Chancellor Gordon Brown was doing to the economy, I mean he even gave away the English gold. Whether it was basic ineptitude or a genuine hatred for the English we will never know, but we are the Titanic and we are going to hit the iceberg. Once we are totally destroyed as a Nation the millions of migrants who have raped our Country will head out once again for another land of milk & Honey (If there is one?) If America survives Obama being President (Just remember what Socialism, did to us?) the US may use our wasteland as a military base, unless Russia beats them to it? I think you can safely say that for once being the greatest Colonial power on earth the UK is now paying the price. As they used to say in Dads Army `Were All Doomed`
