Flying A Gurkha Flag Is Banned in the UK

A former Gurkha has been banned from flying his regimental flag above his restaurant – but told he CAN hoist the EU emblem.
Asbahadur Gurung, 70, served 28 years with the British Army and wanted to display his former colours above his eatery called The Gurkha.

(RG) This is yet another example of what is wrong with the UK, Asbahadur Gurung is paying the price for having been part of the British army. If this man was from any other ethnic group there would have been no objection from the Council. I am guessing that this Council is Labour controlled as they have an institutional hatred of our Armed Forces. I wonder if Principal planning officer Alan Davies realises once a Gurkha draws his Kukri he must draw blood? If you would like to let the Council know what you think of their disgraceful racist decision do it Here

  1. I posted something similiar a few days ago. A former Royal Marine printed his badge on his number plate and was ticketed in front of his house with a 30 pound fine. Apparently the only things you are allowed to put on your plates are "acceptable international symbols and flags". One of which if of course the EU. Can't be British, proud of your country and your service, can you?
    For goodness sake.

  3. Unfortunately, I think we cannot deface nor block any of the numbers that go on a Number Plate. We have individual state registration Number plates and usually include the State motto, such as New Hampshire which as a picture of the old man of the mountains, (a rock formation that looked like a man's head and neck attached to a mountain side. It also has a motto, "In God we Trust" someone didn't like the motto and covered it up and was taken to court for doing so. They are very proud people who hate taxes and to be told what to do. I ramble....stay well..... We also can buy vanity plates with other items on them, Probably one that included an emblem if we wanted....I ramble......
