It is with deep regret that the Ministry of Defence must confirm that a Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) soldier attached to 5 Regiment Royal Artillery has been killed and five others injured in southern Afghanistan yesterday, Sunday 20 January 2008. RIP.
