Kevin Porter was a radio operator tactical on HMS Fearless in 1982. His role to to work in the ship’s bridge area, manoeuvring ships by voice and silently with flag signals, flashing lights etc. It was his first ship in 1982 after joining in 1980. He left in 1989.
