Tragic cyclist who died in North Wales was a Falklands veteran due to marry in weeks




John Chetwynd - who also served in the Gulf and Northern Ireland - died from suspected heart failure while riding his bike on a country lane. A Falklands hero who died while cycling in north Wales was due to get married in a few weeks.John Chetwynd, who served in the Falklands and in the Gulf, as well as in Northern Ireland, died from suspected heart failure while riding his bike in a country lane in north Wales on Saturday. His family have paid tribute to the 54-year-old, describing him as a 'loving father' and 'cherished grandad'. Fitness fanatic John, from Edgeley in Stockport, had been due to marry his fiancĂ©e Dorrien Fretwell in a few weeks.
