Former Royal Marine to hold fitness camps in memory of his best friend



Chris Hunt has organised the sessions in memory of Ben Birch who died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in May A former Royal Marine hopes to kick off the new year with a series of charity fitness camps in memory of his best friend. Personal trainer Chris Hunt plans to organise five one-hour training sessions where those taking part pledge a donation which will go to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) charity. Mr Hunt, 30, believes the venture would give something back to the community and raise money for charity in memory of Ben Birch who died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in May. The pair attended The Forest School together and Mr Birch was godfather to Mr Hunt’s eldest daughter Summer, aged five. Mr Hunt, who served in the Royal Marines from 2007 to Tuesday, November 26, said: “Ben’s death was an absolute shock to everybody.
