Diplomatic relations between London and
Washington were strained today when American servicemen attached to British Forces in Basra were given the new state of the art ULPV (Ultra Lightweight Patrol Vehicle) The soldiers were lucky to escape an insurgent who fired an RPG 7 at them but was laughing so much he fell off the roof. Des Browne was unavailable for comment as he is in Barbados fishing.
