Soldiers from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Battlegroup are preparing to begin their six-month deployment in southern Iraq as part of Operation TELIC 12.
The Battlegroup forms a key part of 7th Armoured Brigade, also known as the Desert Rats, who will shortly take over responsibility for overwatch in the Multi-National Division South East area of Iraq from 1 June 2008. Read It Here
