The Iraqi Army is leading its first joint foot patrols through areas of Baghdad under the mentoring eye of the US/UK Military Transition Team (MiTT).

(RG) Early days and still a lot of work to do but this is exactly what we need Iraqis running Iraq. Its got to be better than the Iranians running Iraq. Lets give them all the support they need and then we can eventually leave when there is stability.
