FALKLANDS WAR PHOTOGRAPHS

Just received a message from Tony Sweeny he is a fantastic artist and has raised a lot of money for charities such as Help For Heroes if anyone has an photographs from the Falklands War that they would like Tony to draw They would be pencil drawings with a plain white background please get on touch. 

Tony raised £1,155 with his ‘Art for Heroes’ painting. It depicts the Royal Marines, 3 Commando Brigade landing in the Now Zad in Afghanistan around 2007. It is based on a photo from Petty Officer Sean Clee, who was attached to the regiment, and he was happy to give his permission to use it as a reference. The painting was finished in mid February and the RM Reserve Merseyside bought the painting for £400. Tony also donated £5 from each print of the painting that was sold. Thank you so much Tony!
