Oh interesting, does that mean they have lower standards for the men or higher standards for the women compared to say the US military? Makes sense - I personally found women slow and an obstruction in the military and would rather just have had all males when push came to shove. But Israel is in a unique position that it wouldn't make sense to just have males trained - whereas the US, well, combat is more of a social experiment ruled by affirmative action and equality to pad your resume at a liberal university as a feminist rather than the necessity of victory (Meanwhile American football is too dangerous and may be banned as per Obama but we'll send women into combat).
I would say they have `higher` standards for the men and women than both the US and the UK, they have no choice. I have never had the pleasure if that's the right word of working with female soldiers, but I think my Mil babes makes a few of us smile every day.
I wonder how the Israelis handle physical differences between men and women in training.
