Able Seaman Heidi Telford gets in position on the perimeter of Checkpoint Salaang, Helmand province, alongside soldiers of 1st Battalion, The Rifles, as they provide cover for a patrol that came under fire from insurgents, Helmand province, June 11.Telford, a native of Plymouth, U.K., is a member of the Female Engagement Team and is currently assigned to the 1 Rifles Battle Group in the Nahr-e-Saraj district.
