It is with sadness that the Ministry of Defence must announce that a soldier from The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, serving as part of the Brigade Reconnaissance Force, was killed in Afghanistan on Sunday 5 September 2010.
