Biker Tribute: 15,000 Ride For Fallen Heroes

Motorcyclists have roared through Wootton Bassett to honour soldiers who have lost their lives in the Afghan war and the people of the Wiltshire town for their support.

It has become tradition for hundreds of people to line the streets of the town as the bodies of soldiers flown into nearby RAF Lyneham are driven through.
Some 10,000 bikers and 5,000 pillion passengers are taking part in the procession to the town to raise money for the charity Afghan Heroes.
The ride, believed to the biggest of its kind, has raised more than £100,000 so far.
All the money raised will be donated to the families who have lost loved ones during the war in Afghanistan.Wootton Bassett Mayor Steve Bucknell said: "The vast majority of the people of the town fully support what the bikers are doing today.
"Too many times the town has had to stand still in silence but today is all about noise and movement."
