The Battle of Trafalgar

    I posted here because I think I would have liked to have seen this.

    Did they encounter opposition from Parliament? There is a crazy law that restricts people from making any kind of political statement within a certain radius of Westminster.

    Give it a couple of weeks and The Faulklands conflict should eventually feature on Andrew Marr's new series.

    I was only at primary school at the time, so my main memory of the Faulklands War was an impending sense of worry that there might be a call up.

  2. I just watched a recording of this program. I found it an incredibly moving piece of TV... I recognised at least for of the guys from previous programs, and the more exposure this sort of thing brings the more pressure there will be on our shameful leadership.

    Perhaps one day our politicians will deliver a land fit for heroes...
