BBC Downplays the Falklands War.

(RG) Well no surprises there. I m guessing back in 1982 the BBC was probably just another broadcaster that would make documentaries and tell us the news without adding their opinion. They obviously have robbed us blind with the license fee, but today’s BBC is a very different animal. The left wing have infiltrated and then totally taken over the entire corporation. Whatever programme they have on its like a party political broadcast on behalf of the BBC party. The BBC like the Labour Party do not want to even mention the Falklands War due to their being a Conservative Government in charge at the time. When BBC newsreaders say the words Margaret Thatcher or the Falklands its as if they have been asked to join the Clu Clux Clan, or endorse a George Bush autobiography., so as I say the BBC downplaying the Falklands War is no real surprise, it would have been a surprise if they didn’t They only spoke to me on local Radio because the article was about Blogging..Read It Here

  1. I was a teenager during the Falklands War. I was appalled that our government did so little to assist your cause. Regardless of any treaty we had with Argentina as part of SATO. The UK has been our greatest friend in the realm of world politics for years, despite the enmity we had 200 years ago. Every day I would watch the news and cheer for you guys. It saddened me everytime I heard about your losses.
And I agree the BBC has turned into a haven for political left.

  2. Your assesment of the BBC is spot on Rogue. It seems like most left wing types they have a strange hatred for anything British, funny considering their name BBC? The UK as a country like it was in 1982 is gone forever.
