Falkland Islands

HMS Plymouth plan to boost tourism This is a wonderful idea and with 80,000 visitors a year she will pay for herself and help educate the public about the Falklands War and her vital role.

Stowaway Afghan found at Army base it’s a good job he wasn’t a suicide bomber. This will give the Taliban & Al Qaeda ideas, as our security is such a joke. So who gets the £2,000 fine the bus driver or the officer in command? No I didn’t think so!

Don't ask, don't tell over defence secretary thinking? Is Bob Ainsworth not Gay, he’s always going on about `Bollocks.`

BAE, Mod no comment on Saudi fighter deal report Everything to do with Saudi and the British Government is hush hush, to say the least.

CND in protest at RAF base - COMMENT ON THIS STORY Pot smoking tree hugging lefty pillocks.

RAF Chinooks In Afghanistan In my opinion the Chinook is the best helicopter of its type in the world for supporting military operations whether it be logistical or boots on the ground including casavac.

Royal Navy sailors hurl Ronald McDonald into Chilean harbour Ha ha , crazy headline of the day.

Fast food hating warship.

Lynx goes wild as first flight approaches I have been upside down in one of the old Lynx helicopters whilst doing Northern Ireland training, great fun.

Editor wins Real IRA secrecy battle I am in no doubt that Suzanne Breen, northern editor of the Dublin-published Sunday Tribunes life would be in danger if she handed over information to the police, which is unfortunate as I doubt that the protection she would be given would be adequate. She may have had to go into witness protection and move abroad even and she obviously may not want to do that. I just hope that the cowardly killers of Sappers Patrick Azimkar, 21, from London, and Mark Quinsey, 23, from Birmingham, are found and brought to justice.

Parts of Iraq war inquiry may be opened up to public I doubt if the bit where the Government decided to murder Doctor David Kelly will be made public?

Award for team that saved blinded pilot A fully deserved award.

Under fire – with four casualties to evacuate The Military Cross for bravery says it all, regimental sergeant major Kimberlin is a very brave man and a totally professional soldier.

Harry wants frontline return I’m sure Harry does he’s a good bloke, but I doubt if they will risk him in a front line role again?

A military funeral for 'quiet hero' from Blackburn RIP.

US military deaths in Iraq war at 4,315 RIP.

Student jailed for trying to fight British in Afghanistan Remember the good old days when they used to hang you for treason.

Troops in Afghanistan get heavy weaponry We are going to need it, nice to see the German troops getting closer to the action.
