Thursdays Fire Mission

29 Royal Marines bound for Afghanistan in bus crash If serving in Afghanistan is not dangerous enough driving to the airport in icy roads in England can be nearly as dangerous, I imagine some Marines will have dozed off and woke up thinking “s*** we must be there already” thank God it wasn’t more serious, I hope the Marines have got rid of their bad luck and have a safe tour of Afghanistan.

Two RAF Trainees Thought Killed In Air Crash Deepest sympathy to those airmen who lost their lives serving their Country, RIP

New Ration Packs For Troops I think they should have left the 'biscuits brown' in the rations incase the troops are overrun by the Taliban they could have used them as weapons. I will always remember having a few boiled sweets in my combat jacket in the Falklands War and the roof of my mouth feeling like I had been chewing a broken light bulb.

Navy Escorts Convoys into Somalia I imagine the Falkland Islanders will be hoping that there is s a few pirates in the South Atlantic and then they may see the sight of a Royal, Navy ship?

“You cannot eliminate terror; just as you cannot eliminate crime, or murder” So BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner spoke at the two-day Counter Terror Expo in London in Februaryy the same correspondant that just happened to get shot, even though he spoke Arabic to his attackers at the time. If people had listened to people like Gardner in the 1930s and used his approach to terrorism then the NAZIS would have won WW2.As for crime the three strikes policy in New York seems to have worked and the city is by far safer than the murder capital of Europe London.

Violent thugs cash in after hero soldier's funeral I wonder how hard these scum would be in Helmand province?

Progress on soldier inquest move I agree with this move as it will be easier for the bereaved soldiers family and thats a good thing.

US, NATO Forces In Advanced Plans To Create Citizen Militias In Afghanistan: Reveals Leaked Email We could do with some citizen militias on Britain’s council estates!

Last straw' for American war deserter Anyone like Jeremy Hinzman who volunteers to join the military then run away just before active service is a coward and should be presented with a white feather.
