Forces No Longer Needed In Southern Iraq


British forces are no longer needed to maintain security in southern Iraq and should leave the country, the Iraqi prime minister said in an interview published today.Read It Here

(RG) It seems we are no longer needed or is that wanted? Lets hope Nouri al-Maliki isn’t being premature as we don’t want to be going back next year in greater numbers, plus we need every swinging dick in the feild in Afghanistan.

Having listened to 5Live late Sunday night, and deplore the audacity of the pacifists and cowards in our midst, let me use your blog to remind people of what Churchill said of our troopies - and everyone knows who have read my blog I was against the illegal Iraqi War from before it's conception, but fell in line once the shooting started..."People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
    What the woofters in Parliament cannot understand is that soldiers love soldiering. They hate politics, politicians et-al.
