Treasury balks at cost of safer Snatch vehicle for Army

The Treasury is blocking the army’s attempts to replace its lightly armoured Snatch Land Rovers with safer vehicles, senior defence sources said last week.
No extra funding for the vehicles will be provided by the Treasury, leaving the Ministry of Defence (MoD) struggling to fund the vehicles from its overstretched budget. Read It Here



(RG) Well I balk at the sight of the fat Labour Military Hating Socialists who have destroyed the UK and our military. There are a million and one things they could do to raise the money for these vehicles. Apart from shutting the front door to Britain to every Tom Dick And Harry from across the globe that wants a slice of the free money free council house gravy chain why don’t the Nations that are doing the lions share of the fighting approach NATO and ask for funding for the new vehicles for our troops. They can keep their cowardly European troops at home sweeping leaves and painting the grass green while our boys and girls get the protection they deserve, quite a good trade of if you ask me?
