Post-Tour Soldiers Die Driving Recklessly

British soldiers are twice as likely as civilians to die as a result of reckless driving, because they have difficulty adjusting to normal life after returning home from active duty, according to official statistics. read it here

(RG) Like death by cop there will be a small percentage of combat veterans that will consider driving head on in to a car with a family of civilians to end their suffering, but the MOD will downplay this and pretend its just young men looking for an adrenaline rush. A large proportion of Vietnam veterans were killed in automobile wrecks and never went on the official statistics of suicides. 72% more vets have killed themselves since returning home from Vietnam than died in the conflict itself Lets hope that the MOD start to take this problem seriously and give more resources to helping veterans suffering from psychiatric disorders.
