Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

It is with deep sadness that the Ministry of Defence has confirmed the death of James Thompson in Afghanistan on 19 May 2008. Read It Here

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning

  1. It seems strange to some to read
    "he died doing what he loved", but to some, soldiering is all they have ever done, and indeed ever wanted to do. I myself loved my time in that role and there is a massive hole left by my non involvement in the army.Rest in Peace soldier. And his family should be rightly proud.
    Tabs.
