Marines: We’ll sink Taliban




CRACK Royal Marines have launched the first-ever amphibious assault in landlocked Afghanistan.
Commandos crossed a reservoir in assault boats to sneak behind enemy lines at night to recce Taliban positions in Helmand.
Our Boys are guarding a hydro-electric power station. Capt Iain Sutherland, of 40 Commando, said: “These ops allow us to surprise them from a different flank.
They don’t know where we’re coming from, which hits their morale.”

    Soldiering is hard, but what a buzz when you get back from a sticky op.
    There is only one lifestyle like it, as long as you are prepared to die young, have your pensions stolen by the Socialists, and have to keep your gob shut in case you offend those amongst us who are planning terrorism.
