Forgotten heroes: how we've abandoned the wounded from Blair's wars.

When a British soldier is killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, he is publicly named so that proper tributes can be made.
But no one knows about the horrors of the wounded. They are not identified.
No official figures are released - indeed, we have no idea how many there are.
The closest estimate is that, in the past six years, there have been 5,500 emergency medical evacuations from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Read It Here

(RG) Once again more proof that our servicemen & woman are treated like dirt. I was wrong yesterday when I said Soldiers are a disposable commodity like an empty brass round, because that Brass is recycled in to more ammunition. Our wounded troops are an embarrassment to the Socialist vermin who sent them to War. Yes the Labour party truly hate our Military.
