Not here in this pub surrounded by civvies

The don’t understand
What its like with the lads
Il just drink my beer
Play another hand of cards
Laughing and joking
Its just a piece of piss
They think its all like the War films
In their ignorant innocent bliss
In 48 hours Il wave goodbye to this mob
Then be home with my brothers
Back at my FOB.
