It is with great sadness that the Ministry of Defence must announce that a Royal Marine from 42 Commando Royal Marines was killed in Afghanistan on Sunday 15 May 2011. The marine was killed by an Improvised Explosive Device while involved in an operation to search a compound in the Loy Mandeh Wadi area of the Nad-e Ali (North) District of Helmand Province. Here RIP
