Snatch Rovers Phased from Combat Areas

Lightly armoured Snatch Land Rovers in which 37 soldiers have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan will no longer be used on operations, John Hutton, the defence secretary, announced yesterday.
Read It Here Above is the new snatch Vixen.

(RG) I wonder when this comes into force? Probably when a few more unfortunate British service personnel are killed inside them. Its about time that the MOD realised that Afghanistan is not Northern Ireland. It is now obvious that the Taliban are having more success killing our troops with IED and suicide bombers and these vehicles are simple magnets for these atrocities. Lets hope that the replacement snatch Vixens don’t go the same way as the new aircraft carriers.
