Recruitment to the Armed Forces is up and retention issues are being addressed, a Defence Minister has said. Veterans Minister and Under Secretary of State for Defence Derek Twigg made the statement, 30 July 2008, following the publication of a Defence Select Committee report on the recruitment and retention of the Armed Forces.
