Queen's Effigy Burned In Argentina Protest

Left-wing protesters have staged a demonstration against Britain's involvement in the International Olympics Committee in Buenos Aires.

Around 250 demonstrators chanted anti-British slogans and burned an effigy of the Queen and a Union Flag outside the committee.

The protest was the latest by the Quebracho group that in April last year staged demonstrations in front of the British Embassy in the Argentinian capital.

The Quebracho group stages rallies calling for the Falkland Islands to be handed over to Argentine sovereignty in the wake of the 1982 Falklands War.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will decider later today between Tokyo, Madrid and Istanbul for the next city to host the Olympic Games.

After a two-year campaign, the three cities spent their final full day of campaigning on Friday attempting to secure last-minute support for their bids.

Tokyo has been seen as a slight favourite, but its status has been undermined by concerns over the leak of radioactive water from the crippled Fukushima plant.

The above article was in the UK press recently. Well what can you say about the Argies they certainly like to annoy people whether it be , defecating and urinating over peoples houses or holding women and children at gunpoint and threatening to shoot them, or even throwing their own people out of the back of aircraft over the Atlantic Ocean they keep on annoying us don’t they? The fact is the Olympics is non politician and the UK athletes don’t need to wear any badges about the Falklands , because it OURS, nice badge makers, shame about your Junta!
