British Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Blast
The blast hit a dismounted patrol in the Gereshk district of Helmand Province, the MoD said. The family of the serviceman Acting Sergeant Michael Lockett MC from 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment, has been informed. RIP.

With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
Britain mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.

Video: Remembering Deal bombing victims We will never forget them, RIP.

U.K. Premier Seeks Fewer Troops in Afghanistan The Red Robot knows that this is political spin the ANA are no match for the Taliban and are only a force at the moment due to the huge backing from US Forces. If it ever came to them defending Afghanistan from the Taliban it would be a matter of days before they were heavily beaten. Many would almost immediately swap sides to save their skins. This statement from Brown is for UK consumption in a desperate effort to save his grip on power. Like the ANAs chances of defeating the Taliban Brown is finished!

Crowds wave off HMS Ocean I wonder is she will remain the largest RN ship in the fleet for years to come?

'Lusty' to take centre stage in city's celebrations I’m surprised a Socialist city like Liverpool would allow a War ship in her port?

Falkland Islands LH

Typhoons Depart for the Falklands This is good news for the Falkland Islands and its proud British people. Lack of naval assets may have given the Argentineans the impression that the UK didn’t care about defending these Islands, but as soon as Gordon Brown heard those magic words Oil & Gas he wrapped himself in the flag. Rule Britannia the Falklands are BRITISH, no debating this issue.

Thugs jailed for battering postman in North Wales If this scum want to fight they could have joined up and gone to Afghanistan but are to cowardly.

Afghan mission 'failing' - Clegg I have a Question for the extreme left wing politician Clegg. “WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERNTLY?” These idiots just play at being politicians knowing they will never be elected.
