Gurkha veterans won a famous victory last week when the High Court ruled it was unlawful to deny those who retired before 1997 the right to live in the UK.

(RG) At last we are seeing some common sense. These brave soldiers have served the Crown since 1817 and have never asked for anything , all they ask for now is to be treated with the respect and honour that they deserve, I consider it an honour to have fought along side these men in the Falklands War, they are my brothers in arms.
