More than 2,000 retired British Gurkhas could be granted leave to remain in the UK when their case goes to the High Court today. Five veteran Gurkhas and the widow of another are seeking to overturn a law stating only Gurkhas who retired after 1997 have an automatic right to UK residency.

(RG) When these brave men put on a British army uniform and were willing to lay down their lives for this Country in my book they earned automatic right to UK residency. I hope that these warriors know that it is not the people of the UK that don’t want them here it is the Communist scum in Downing street that despise them and every man and woman that has take the Queens shilling, we love you Johnny Gurkha!
