It is with deep regret that the Ministry of Defence has confirmed the death of Private Jason Lee Rawstron of 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan. Private Jason Lee Rawstron of The 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. Private Rawstron was killed when his patrol were engaged in an exchange of fire with the Taliban near Forward Operating Base
