A team from the King's Royal Hussars will take on the challenge of cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats in just 6 days. This is an average daily distance of 145 miles and passes through the Lake District and the hills of Scotland. To put this in context, the longest leg of the 2008 Tour de France is 144 miles - less than our average daily distance.
