Brown in Baghdad Talks with Iraq PM

Gordon Brown has flown into Baghdad for talks with Iraqi prime minister Nouri Maliki and military leaders.
The Prime Minister's surprise visit, his first since December, comes ahead of a Commons statement next week on Britain's involvement in the country.

(RG) Nouri Maliki had told Gordon Brown “If we find any Asylum seekers sneaking into Iraq we will deport them straight away back to the UK we do not want crime levels like your country.” Mr Brown nodded and said “We are getting on with the job.”
