Book Review Chris Ryan (Killing For The Company)
Ryan’s book Killing For The Company has all the right ingredients for an SAS black op beach read paperback with the gore bullets and fire fights and a storyline on steroids that keeps you gripped to the last empty assault rifle and page. Chet Freeman main character battles a volatile combination of Dodgy American security companies, Mossad and crazed ex Prime Minster which is scarily believable. Like all good reads this one gives you empathy with the strong characters and I literally visualised the scenes described. The only thing I noticed which I found strange was the use of the term `Buddy` by SAS men , perhaps this is what they call each other nowadays? Its accuracy to real world wide events is plausible adding believability , escapist reading, cracking, paperback fits nicely in your day sack…. Enjoy!
