Son of Britain’s top soldier quits Army... to earn three times as much in Civvy St













The son of Britain’s top soldier is leaving the Army after a five-year career that has included two tours of Iraq and deployments to Afghanistan, Bosnia and the Falklands.
Grenadier Guards Captain Bertie Dannatt, 27 – whose father, General Sir Richard Dannatt, is Chief of the General Staff – is expected to take a job in the City, where he could earn three times his current £38,000-a-year salary.
