(RG) Could the British Army cope if terrorism reared its ugly head again in Northern Ireland? With the major commitments we have in Iraq and most notably Afghanistan it would be extremely difficult. Perhaps some NATO countries might like to help us out? French troops patrolling Belfast that would be different.
