The article about Obama's meeting with the head of the American Legion...such an ironic disgrace. After all, Obama is the man who WANTS to expand government - WANTS government to pay for everything (healthcare, education, etc.)...everything that is except ANYTHING having to do with war. War is the unacceptable thing. No budget for weapons, no budget for defense, no budget to take care of our troops. The government (read: taxpayers) can pay a hundred million dollars to study volcanic lava, but we can't pay anything to help our soldiers. Shame.

ReplyDeleteA part of me wonders if he isn't sending more troops in a ploy to get rid of them...he's not a big fan of the military, and I would venture to say that he can't comprehend the ideals of our troops. No doubt he thinks them to ignorantly/stupidly rely on "God and guns" (and little else), assumptions Obama holds about many of our citizens and carries obvious disdain for.
ReplyDeleteSocialism is a cancer that destroys a Nation, it first affects the military as the Socialists have done in the UK, we are merely a militia now and our navy a costal defence force. I’m sure Americans will reject Obama and he will be ousted at the next election, lets hope the damage he does is not on the scale that is befalling the Former Great Britain.
