A British soldier who suffered horrific burns to 70 per cent of his body in a Taliban rocket attack is fighting to overturn a paltry compensation award from the Ministry of Defence.
Lance Corporal Martyn Compton, 24, saw three of his comrades killed by a massive roadside bomb before he was blown up, set on fire and then shot as he tried to drag himself to safety.

(RG) If only Lance Corporal Martyn Compton had been a civilian typist that broke a nail he would be on his way to being a millionaire. Brown and the rest of his Socialist cronies can give us all the hollow words and false praise when one of our Heroes in killed in Afghanistan or Iraq but this is the true reality of what Labour think of our Armed Forces who THEY sent into harms way, DISGUSTING.
