Crippled British Soldier Gets Just £35K




A HERO British soldier left severely crippled by an Iraqi sniper has been awarded a paltry £35,000 in compensation from the Army.
Jon Le Galloudec, 27, was picked off on the streets of Basra almost a year ago.
His brave comrade Rodney Wilson came to his aid and was shot dead in front of him.
The bullet that hit Jon ripped through his spine leaving him paralysed in his left leg and from the knee down in his right .

(RG) How on earth can they justify this award? When you contrast typist who injured her thumb at work is to be paid almost half a million pounds by the Ministry of Defence.

  1. That soldier should stop moaning and listen to our great leader Gordon BROWN who says

    "We are getting on with the job"
    Iam sick of moaning soldiers what about are MPs they are having the trauma of having their expense sheets looked in to that is worse than being in Iraq

Again the govt show just how to lets its people down, we all know what we signed for, but we also expected if we were injured that we would be looked after, why i dont know as we saw countless freinds let down in the same way. It does leave a horrible taste in your mouth to know that through an accident, someone gets a staggering amount for being in the wrong place at the wrong time
