Fears that the military is downgrading the importance of parachuting have been highlighted as new figures show the number of training jumps has fallen by nearly two thirds in six years Read It Here
(RG) It certainly looks impressive paratroopers streaming from a Hercules Transport and as a young soldier I did consider getting my wings but it seems to me that the days of large scale airborne drops are coming to an end at least in the British military anyway. They will still be airborne but will be airlifted by helicopter and the furthest they will jump is a couple of feet from the Helicopter. This Labour Government don’t care about Tradition they care more about removing Britannia from our coins. The Para’s and our Heritage will be phased out like the British way of life.

If the don't understand paratroopers maybe it is better they don't have any. King Arthur and Robin Hood are only tales now, soon the paratroopers will be, too. Bowler hats and umbrellas to the top of the barricade now.
