If your not fighting for your country without the correct equipment to do the job and you are unfortunate to get wounded and not being Attacked in your hospital bed when sent back to civvie wards in the UK, then you will probably contract a Super bug due to the filthy state of our hospitals. Well done Mr Blair the NHS is in the same shit state as our Military. But then you would never stoop as low as to be treated by the NHS would you? I realize how upsetting this is, but if I could present another view. MRSA is a huge problem and not just in squalid places. I work on the periphery of the healthcare industry and I know the hoops that my local hospitals must jump through to get JCAHO accreditation. MRSA is more a function of overuse of antibiotics. The soldier described in the article had a weakened immune system due to his injuries and was therefore, at risk.
ReplyDeleteThat said, every effort should be made to improve hospitals everywhere, but especially where we treat those who volunteer to make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. I'm sure the British equivialant of the CDC and NIH are all over this hospital and many practices will change.
His chances of survival with an intravenous antibiotic regimen are very good.
I will present you with another view, how’s this. This Country has for the last 10 years been systematically driven into the ground by the bastard lying Tony Blair and his ugly money grabbing bastard of a wife Cherie. Crime has spiralled out of control he has brought in stupid unworkable laws. He has introduced a two tier police force that doesn’t work. He has ruined the once working health service. He has destroyed the NHS Dentists. He has sent our soldiers to an illegal war where they fight with substandard equipment, while their families live in squalid conditions. Should those soldiers be unlucky enough to be injured they can look forward to being sent to a filthy hospital run by some of the many foreigners who now run them. If they survive this then they may even be attacked in the hospital by disgruntled foreigners who are against the war.

Shouldn't Tony Blair be hung for treason and string the Money grabbing witch up as well.
