A UK soldier has been killed in a major offensive in Afghanistan




A UK soldier has been killed in a major offensive in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has said. The solider, of 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, was killed in an explosion in Nad-e-Ali District in Helmand Province. Next of kin have been informed. More than 1,200 British troops are involved in the Moshtarak offensive against the Taliban and have secured "key objectives", Army chiefs said Read It Here RIP
