It is with sadness that the Ministry of Defence must confirm that a soldier from 1st Battalion Scots Guards, part of the 1 Grenadier Guards Battle Group, was killed in Afghanistan on, Thursday 18 February 2010. The soldier died as a result of small arms fire in the Nad 'Ali area of central Helmand province. Read It Here RIP
