Like all board of inquiries this one was very long winded, I was on the Galahad that day and I know that the Welsh Guards should have been taken ashore well before the airstrike by Argentine Skyhawks, one ridiculous reason for the delay was `not to  mix men and ammunition , yes even in War time.
