Saturdays Fire Mission (Oscar)

'Horrible' sights of war nearly destroyed me I’m glad James Holborn is getting the help that he needs and deserves and wish him all the best. I often wonder what James and others now suffering from PTSD thought about Falklands veterans with PTSD? I know many ignorant servicemen who had not been involved in War poured scorn on the condition but now know the awful reality of this misunderstood condition.

Birmingham and Worcesters Soldiers tell of life on the front line in Afghanistan Your Country is very proud of you lads!

Private funeral ceremony for Afghanistan soldier RIP Private Kyle Adams.

Panther's Claw an 'enduring' success
We obviously only hear about our own soldiers deaths , it would be interesting to know how many enemy combatants were killed?

Surviving Dambuster rejects raid criticism But recently unearthed letters show that Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur "Bomber" Harris, the wartime head of Bomber Command, thought the mission "achieved nothing compared with the effort and the loss". I wonder if they will be saying the same about Afghanistan in the years ahead?

'TROOPS NEED EXTRA HELICOPTERS' No S*** Sherlock, you have to give credit to the Daily Mirror, they really do have their fingers on the pulse!

Two thirds want British troops home from Afghanistan I’m not surprised at this, Wars are never popular, even during there Falklands War there was a small percentage, usually Socialists and trade Unions who were against us even retaking a British dependency invaded by a Fascist Junta!

HMS Somerset on public display See we do have the odd ship! One can only look on in awe at the US navy.

Navy Days 2009 - Meet Your Navy, Before Its Gone. Devonport Naval Base, Plymouth Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September Navy Days is coming back to Plymouth! Over the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September Her Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport, the largest naval base in Western Europe, will open its doors for the first time in 3 years for what promises to be a spectacular family day out. Navy Days will showcase the present and future capabilities of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and allow the public to meet the men and women who serve on our ships and submarines.

New Army boss 'warned of shortages' General Sir David Richards will have to be careful what he says the Socialist mafia don’t take kindly to criticism.

‘All I actually did was sing’ I think the Red Robot is proposing a tax on singing?

Call for MPs to be notified of soldiers’ deaths An interesting idea which would be ok if MP s has any conscience’s ?

RL fans battle in the desert I’m watching this Cup Final this afternoon, I would like to see Warrington win.

We must not forget the real causes of the war Norman Davies has some very valid points here.
