Russian Jets Bomb Georgian Town


Russian jets have bombarded the Georgian town of Gori as a conflict between the two countries continues to escalate Georgia has reportedly called its entire contingent of 2000 troops back from Iraq and its Foreign Ministry claimed that Russian bombers had destroyed the Black Sea port of Poti.
A senior Russian commander also confirmed that two of their warplanes were shot down over Georgia.

(RG) Its sad to see too former Allies who fought together against the NAZIS now hell bent on killing each other. There is a lot at stake for both countries, lets hope their differences can be resolved without further bloodshed.
